I started as a full-stack developer and evolved into UX Consultant continuing my career in creating and executing digital strategies for the biggest players in the European market in the fields of Logistics, FinTech, Telecom, Finance, and Pharma. Let me introduce you to my standard process.
It all kicks off with getting to know the area I am going to operate in. I usually choose the activities from the following set:
1. Benchmarking and market research
2. Interviews and presentations
3. Data analysis
Once I understand the environment I analyze stakeholders’ actions influencing the product and construct their pathways to obtain a holistic overview using:
1. Service Blueprint
2. Customer Journeys
At this stage, I am ready to generate initial ideas which will be easy to test with the end users. I want to probe which concept gets traction and which directions are most promising with:
1. Paper prototypes
2. Digital sketches
After I know which concept gets the most traction I pursue the idea in detail by creating various types of visualizations and scenarios with:
1. Mock-ups
2. Prototypes
When the product is being developed it is a good practice to gather feedback from the end users. That is why I recommend and execute the following activities
1. Feedback sessions
2. Usability testing
The designer’s work is never over. After a product is launched either as a MVP or a full solution it is crucial to get real feedback from the market. I combine two methods:
1. Qualitiative research
2. Quantitative research
